Recovery: (noun)
A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.

WHO WE ARE

Recovery Community Connection is a 501(c)3 non-profit group of men and women in various stages of recovery, all of whom have committed themselves to being a voice for positive change in the community.

We are a proud member of ARCO - the Association of Recovery Community Organizations

OUR VISION

Recovery Community Connection envisions a world where recovery is understood, embraced, promoted, and enjoyed.

This includes recovery from mental health challenges and recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

We envision communities where stigma and discrimination are no longer accepted, tolerated, or propagated, and where long-term recovery is accurately supported, integrated, and nurtured.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families in long term recovery from substance use and mental health disorders.

Our mission is to develop and mobilize resources that support and enhance long-term recovery through education, public and policy advocacy, training, and peer support.

Our mission is to mobilize community resources so that all who seek recovery have equal access to the support, care, and resources they need to achieve and sustain their recovery.

We respect that there are multiple pathways to recovery.
